Responsibilities

• Contact local businesses and introduce them to LegacyWalk
• Hand out materials and guide interested businesses to our partner application
• Log outreach notes and track warm leads
• Help build and refine our outreach list and materials
• Capture short videos, photos, and simple social content
• Support our current community event benefiting a local nonprofit
• Assist with our quarterly networking event
• Attend a weekly check-in with our Community Engagement Coordinator
• Join a monthly team meeting to present progress and ideas
• Complete one project during the internship that can be used as a portfolio piece

Requirements

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and a passion for Community Engagement
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in Customer Service and a commitment to fostering positive relationships
• Knowledge of Community Management and community-building strategies
• Ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently in a hybrid environment
• Pursuing or recent completion of a degree in Communications, Marketing, Sociology, or a related field

Preferred

• Proficiency in using social media for professional engagement is a plus
• Interest in data-driven projects or experience with data tools is a bonus but not required
