Job Description

Responsibilities

  • With the oversight of the SVP/Director of Channel Marketing, leads TruStone Financial’s enterprise internal and external communications strategy to strengthen employee engagement, member trust, brand reputation and organizational alignment.
  • Serves as the central owner of internal communications, public relations, executive communications, corporate storytelling, brand and content governance, and key enterprise events, such as the annual meeting, all-employee meetings and other strategic engagements.
  • Partners closely with Executive Leadership, Human Resources, Retail Banking, Digital Experience, Product, Community Impact, Compliance, Marketing and other key stakeholders to translate complex business strategies into clear, compelling messages for employees, members, community stakeholders and board audiences.
  • The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, storyteller, and project leader who can translate complex business strategies into clear, compelling messages that engage employees, members, community stakeholders and board members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, corporate communications, or marketing communications.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams and board communications preferred.
  • Experience planning and managing large-scale corporate events and employee meetings.
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Associated Press style and strong copywriting, editing, presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing communication strategies during organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong project leadership, communications and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, concise, and professional manner to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain organization, and adapt effectively to shifting priorities and deadlines.
