Responsibilities

• Creating 3D animation and transportation-related visualization concepts for the Transportation Department
• Supporting the Transportation Department’s creative photoshoots, video production, script writing, outline development, camera operation, video and photography logistical coordination/scheduling and video editing
• Developing attention-grabbing, short-form video content related to transportation and air quality initiatives
• Supporting the management and creation of creative content on the department’s social media channels
• Contributing to the development of other creative elements such as air quality and transportation communications pieces, plans, graphics, and social media
• Serving as a representative of the Transportation Department while in the field, at events, or attending meetings
• Providing customer service to the general public, partners, and stakeholders
• Preparing and delivering oral presentations

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro
• Familiar with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Good technical understanding of animation/visualization platforms such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or Unreal Engine
• Good understanding of DSLR or professional camera platform
• Good understanding of different social media platforms and the benefits of each
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented, highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple assignments/tasks and work well in a deadline-driven environment without diminishing the quality of work
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field, which is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree (i.e., communications, film/TV/digital media, journalism, or a related field)
