Responsibilities

• Developing itineraries, galleries and lists including soliciting images and content as needed and conducting outreach and meetings with New England’s tourism and hospitality industry as needed.
• Maintaining and organizing assets.
• Overseeing the FAM Tour program including the qualification of requests, obtaining buy-in from the partners requested, pitching experiences and advising on itineraries, troubleshooting as necessary, overseeing tracking and reporting, and managing the FAM Coordinator Consultant.
• Assisting with the planning and implementation of the Discover New England Summit & International Marketplace; an annual conference that rotates its location between the six New England states. Travel to Summit is required.
• Monitoring and managing content on DiscoverNewEngland.org website.
• Monitoring and managing content on Discover New England’s social media and digital media accounts.
• Creation and implementation of basic design projects.
• Providing research assistance as requested and assisting with following up with requests for information.
• Monitoring and answering the general phone line and directing or responding accordingly.
• Monitor and respond to emails sent to general email accounts.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a business or financial related field plus at least one year’ experience in an office or business setting or have at least three years’ experience without degree;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Personal vehicle, valid driver’s license and valid passport.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Travefy, Wander Maps, Canva, WordPress, Constant Contact, and Crowdriff or similar programs is preferred.
