Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the School’s internal and external communications, including emails and time-sensitive correspondence using Constant Contact and Blackbaud
  • Create and deliver all internal and external aspects of the School’s electronic and print communications
  • Maintain accurate and current contact lists in Constant Contact
  • Utilize and maintain Hypersign and Bright Arrow
  • Create and manage the internal and front-facing School calendars on JagNet and the Major Dates calendar
  • Work with the Parent Association on streamlining communications and assist with WhatsApp messaging for Class Ambassadors
  • Serve as ghost writer for the Head of School and division directors
  • Develop content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube as relevant
  • Maintain a consistent, professional presence across platforms reflecting SAA’s brand and values
  • Craft engaging digital storytelling posts to support admissions and enrollment goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years’ experience writing and coordinating communications in independent school, Jewish institution, non-profit, or community setting
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office; experience with Blackbaud
  • Proven track record of managing projects from conception to delivery
  • Understanding of Jewish identity, holidays, practices, culture, and life cycle events
  • Professional experience with social media content design
  • Experience with Blackbaud Pushpage and Constant Contact is a plus
  • Outstanding verbal, written communication, and storytelling skills
  • Energetic, positive, flexible with a growth mindset
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships
