Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide support with the creation and execution of social media content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Assist with photo/video content and help to create and edit short-form videos.
  • Create social media captions that speak to our audience and ensure messaging is consistent.
  • Respond to comments and direct messages on social media platforms.
  • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns.
  • Research ideas for original content and develop new strategies for increasing engagement.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of digital email blasts, newsletters, and alerts on social media and traditional news outlets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with social media, communications, public relations, or other related areas or fields.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • Creative and innovative thinker.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Experience with creating visual content in Canva or other similar programs.
  • Knowledge of Downtown Louisville.
