Job Summary
Own the core external-communication engine by producing social content, press outreach, and email campaigns while also shaping the visual design and site updates to support outreach goals.
- Social content & media outreach: manage channels, craft posts, and coordinate press pitches.
- Email & design execution: draft emails, maintain contact lists, and create graphics for campaigns.
- Website & assets: edit Framer pages and produce flyers/presentations for initiatives.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Produce content for and help manage our LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok accounts.
- Write press releases and conduct outreach to newspapers, TV, radio, and podcasts.
- Draft emails to our network and help manage our contact list.
- Help edit our website in Framer.
- Design flyers, presentations, and social media graphics using Canva, PowerPoint, and other platforms.
Requirements
- Experience in social media, press, communications, and/or web design
- Strong, clear writing skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of following through on multiple assignments
- Eligible to volunteer under 52 U.S.C. § 30121 and 11 CFR 110.20 (foreign nationals without legal authorization prohibited)
