Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Graphic Design (Print and Digital)
  • Design print materials including brochures, flyers, event programs, reports, signage, and mailers.
  • Create digital assets such as email graphics, website visuals, motion graphics, infographics, and campaign collateral.
  • Translate brand guidelines consistently across all platforms and materials.
  • Implement inclusive and accessible design practices.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop materials that support fundraising, programs, events, and community outreach goals.
  • Obtain project estimates that align with budget goals, deliver final files for print production, and coordinate with print vendors as needed to assure quality and timely production.
  • Social Media and Digital Content
  • Design graphics and visual content for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn).
  • Support the development of digital campaigns that grow visibility and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-4 years of professional design experience (nonprofit experience a plus).
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere or Rush).
  • Demonstrated experience creating designs for print campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail, layout, typography, and visual consistency.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a small, fast-moving team.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, incorporate feedback, and prioritize effectively.
  • Cultural humility and the ability to work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and file-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.
  • Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello).
  • Experience creating graphics for social media and digital campaigns.
  • Photography skills (basic to intermediate).
  • Social media management skills (basic to intermediate).
  • Experience with ethical fundraising practices.
  • Ability to produce short-form video content and motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with accessibility requirements for digital content.
  • Experience creating branded templates or visual guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse economic, racial, and cultural backgrounds.
