Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Communications Executive is a full-time remote role responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that advance Roarke Regenerative’s mission and visibility.
  • Day-to-day tasks include drafting press releases, writing and editing content for digital and print channels, and maintaining consistent messaging across campaigns and organizational materials.
  • The role involves managing media relations, coordinating with internal teams to gather information, and preparing talking points, briefings, and announcements for public-facing initiatives.
  • The Communications Executive will monitor coverage and engagement metrics, refine communication tactics based on performance, and support stakeholder outreach and donor communications.
  • Collaboration with leadership on strategic communications plans and key organizational initiatives is a core part of this position.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess strong Writing and Communication skills for clear, engaging, and mission-aligned content.
  • Candidates should possess experience in Strategic Communications to plan and implement effective messaging across channels.
  • Candidates should possess Media Relations and Press Releases skills to manage outreach and secure coverage.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., social media, email marketing, content management systems).
  • Candidates should possess excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Relevant experience in nonprofit, environmental, or sustainability communications is beneficial.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with diverse, global stakeholders is beneficial.
