JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

Leads internal communications and engagement across multiple facilities, ensuring employees are informed, connected and aligned with business priorities. The role translates complex operational initiatives into clear, accessible messages for frontline workers while strengthening culture, digital literacy and the overall employee experience. It exists to serve as a strategic partner to site leadership and a bridge to enterprise communications. 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Leads the development and execution of internal communication strategies that align with business objectives and site-level priorities ensuring messaging drives clarity, engagement, and action across all levels of the organization. Serves as a strategic advisor to operations leadership, shaping communication approaches that are timely, relevant, and tailored to the needs of a diverse frontline workforce.
  • Oversee and optimize communication platforms including intranet, digital signage, SharePoint, and multimedia tools to deliver consistent, inclusive, and high-impact messaging that supports employee connection and understanding
  • Translate complex business and operational priorities into compelling narratives, making strategic use of storytelling to connect employees to the company’s mission, purpose, values and performance goals. Lead strategic storytelling efforts, including interviewing employees and leaders to surface authentic, inspiring stories that elevate the employee experience and showcase innovation and impact. 
  • Lead, design and implement enterprise-aligned engagement initiatives, including recognition programs and cultural events that strengthen a sense of belonging, drive retention, and reinforce organizational values. 
  • Act as key liaison between sites and corporate communications and engagement teams, ensuring alignment of messaging, sharing scalable best practices, and contributing to enterprise-wide communication toolkits and frameworks. 
  • Support crisis and change communication planning and execution, providing strategic input and coordination to ensure clarity, confidence, and continuity during critical moments. 
  • Provides guidance and coordination to cross-functional teams, vendors, volunteers, and internal stakeholders. Collaborates with site leadership and administrative teams to deliver strategic initiatives and events. 

Minimum Qualification, Skill and/or Competency Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or retail environments. 
  • Demonstrated strategic storytelling capabilities, including interviewing, writing, editing, and multimedia content creation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and internal communications platforms. 
  • Experience with event planning, project management, and employee engagement. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on execution and inclusive messaging. 

PAY RANGE:

$78,824.00 - $122,176.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
