Responsibilities

• Support our client in key areas of digital communication management, including strategy, audience segmentation, content development, copywriting and editing, plain language/clear communication, web content updates, public-facing email inbox management, and digital media channel management.
• Coordinate communication product development, working with client and ICF communication specialists to write, edit and track educational and promotional materials to support a range of communication efforts.
• Disseminate digital content through client and partner channels to increase visibility of client’s programs and services to a variety of professional and citizen-based audiences.
• Support key project tasks and work with senior and junior staff on the prioritization, coordination, completion, and submission of key project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health communication, marketing, public relations, social sciences, or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of communications experience, government experience preferred.
• U.S. citizenship (required by Federal government for position)

Preferred

• Candidates that meet above requirements and have project management experience or certifications will be prioritized.
• Candidates with 2+ years of experience working with the Centers of Disease Control will be prioritized.
