Job Summary
Own small- to mid-cycle communications and office-ops for weekly church programs, balancing print, email, audio, and site updates to keep guests informed.
- Office Communications: Design and print bulletins and fliers for weekend services.
- Email Campaigns: Manage Constant Contact campaigns and keep contact lists clean.
- Media & Web Maintenance: Do weekly sermon audio edits and refresh event pages as needed.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design and print communication materials such as bulletins, fliers, and postcards
- Organize email campaigns in Constant Contact and update email lists as needed
- Perform basic editing of sermon audio each week
- Update website content, primarily by removing previous events
- Manage other office projects such as mailings, creating promotional material, or special emails
- A personal and growing faith in Jesus Christ
- Experience working within an office or similar professional setting
- Technological aptitude with the ability and willingness to get up to speed on various programs quickly
- Proficiency in computer programs, including InDesign
- Friendly and warm demeanor to greet guests in the office
- Organized, able to effectively multi-task, and meet regular weekly deadlines
- High school diploma
- Proficiency with Canva
- Prior work experience in communications and/or technology
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
