Job Summary

Coordinate and support internal communications and social content by gathering stories, assets, and event materials while partnering with the Northwest Region team to keep messaging organized and on-brand.

  • Own content coordination: social posts, employee stories, and internal newsletters.
  • Support events, community engagement, and regional communications projects.
  • Maintain files, photos, and deliverables for the Northwest region.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and managing social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Gather and develop employee stories for internal newsletters and communication campaigns
  • Collect project profiles, data, and photos for website updates and marketing materials
  • Support the development and distribution of internal newsletters and communications
  • Assist in promoting the organization internally and externally through various channels
  • Help coordinate and participate in community engagement events
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and shared resources (digital and physical)
  • Assist with meeting coordination, including agenda preparation, note-taking, and follow-up on action items
  • Assist with event planning logistics, including scheduling, communications, and execution
  • Provide general office and administrative support as needed to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

  • Current enrollment or a recent graduate of a marketing, communications, social media, journalism, public relations or related field of study.
  • Sophomore standing or higher

Preferred

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and able to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Proficiency in Canva, InDesign, and Outlook.
  • Understand social media platforms and current market trends.
  • Previous communications and/or marketing experience or coursework
