This role supports account leadership by managing end-to-end client financials, including invoicing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and profitability management, across complex project-based and retainer engagements. The role also serves as a key point of contact for internal finance-related questions on active client work and projects.

- Lead monthly client financial reviews, including revenue, cost, margin, and profitability analysis
- Oversee accruals, reconciliations, and revenue adjustments
Client Advisory & Profitability Optimization
- Provide financial insights on pricing, scope, and contract terms to maximize profitability

Forecasting & Planning
- Manage forecasting and budgeting for assigned client portfolio

- Support scenario modeling for new and existing client work
Billable Utilization & Resource Management
- Partner with Resource Management and Account teams to monitor staff utilization rates
- Analyze billable vs. non-billable time to ensure alignment with revenue targets
- Track utilization against targets (typically 70–85% depending on role level)
- Identify under- or over-utilization trends and recommend staffing or resourcing adjustments
- Support pricing models using utilization assumptions and blended rate structures
- Evaluate scope vs. actual hours to identify efficiency opportunities and margin leakage
- Provide utilization reporting and variance analysis to leadership
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 5–8+ years of finance experience within large agency networks or small to mid-sized agencies required
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and project accounting
- Experience with invoicing cycles, billing operations, and accounts receivable management
