Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and resourceful Chief of Staff & Communications to work directly with leadership and support both day-to-day operations and external communications. This role blends executive support, project coordination, and communications management. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a small team environment, is comfortable operating across multiple disciplines, and enjoys both structured execution and creative communications work.
Executive & Operational Support
- Work directly with leadership to manage priorities, tasks, and follow-ups
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, and internal communication flow
- Track key initiatives and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
- Support decision-making through organization, research, and synthesis of information
- Act as a central connector across team members to ensure execution stays on track
Communications & Brand Management
- Manage and execute company communications across external channels
- Support and maintain social media presence for the company and/or leadership
- Draft, schedule, and manage content across platforms
- Ensure consistency in voice, messaging, and brand positioning
- Assist with announcements, updates, and external-facing communications
Partnerships & Project Coordination
- Support coordination of partnerships, collaborations, and external relationships
- Help manage timelines, deliverables, and communication with partners
- Assist with execution of small campaigns, initiatives, and special projects
- Ensure follow-through across multiple stakeholders and priorities
Operations & Internal Systems
- Improve internal organization systems, workflows, and documentation
- Maintain visibility on open loops, priorities, and ongoing projects
- Help translate ideas into structured execution plans
- Support general operational needs across the business as they arise
Background Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in operations, communications, marketing, PR, agency, executive support, or related fields
- Strong creative instincts with the ability to develop, execute, and optimize engaging social media content across platforms, specifically Linkedin and Instagram
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving, unstructured environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with leadership
- Experience in startup, agency, or creator/talent-adjacent environments in a plus
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Monday, and basic Project Management tools
