Our Client is Looking for Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) is responsible for developing and executing the organization's AI strategy, leading AI initiatives, and integrating artificial intelligence technologies into business operations and product ecosystem. This role focuses on driving AI-first innovation, improving operational efficiency, managing AI-related risks, and ensuring that AI solutions align with the company's strategic goals in the AI and Tech industry.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Strategy Development: Develop and implement the organization's AI vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy aligned with AI and Technology industry standards.
- AI Implementation: Identify opportunities to integrate AI, machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation into business processes and client-facing products.
- Business Transformation: Lead AI-driven initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and create new revenue opportunities through AI monetization.
- AI Research and Innovation: Monitor emerging AI technologies, foundation models, MLOps, and industry trends to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Data Strategy: Collaborate with data and technology teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, security, data governance, and effective utilization for model training.
- AI Governance: Establish policies and standards for responsible, transparent, and ethical AI development and deployment (Responsible AI).
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate AI-related risks, including bias, hallucinations, privacy concerns, security vulnerabilities, and inaccurate outputs.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and manage AI researchers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, prompt engineers, and other technical professionals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the CEO, CTO, CIO, CPO, CFO, and other department leaders to align AI initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Budget Management: Develop AI investment plans, manage GPU/Infra budgets, and evaluate the return on investment of AI projects.
- Vendor and Partnership Management: Evaluate AI platforms, LLM providers, cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and strategic technology partnerships.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure AI adoption, model performance, latency, business impact, and operational efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure AI systems comply with applicable data protection laws, AI Acts, industry regulations, and internal policies.
- Employee Training: Promote AI literacy and support employees in adopting AI tools, copilots, and AI-augmented workflows.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree or PhD in AI, machine learning, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in technology, AI, data science, or digital transformation within the AI and Technology industry, including significant leadership experience.
- Proven experience developing and implementing AI strategies at an organizational level and scaling AI products.
- Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, large language models (LLMs), RAG, AI agents, and AI automation / MLOps.
- Experience managing AI projects, technical teams, and enterprise technology initiatives.
- Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, cybersecurity, and responsible AI practices.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and financial management skills for AI commercialization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
