Job Description
Responsibilities
- Define channel roadmap and prioritize efforts: Work with Brand, Operations, Partner Comms and Functional teams to develop and align on quarterly marketing plans for channel. Prioritizing efforts based on roadmap and key inputs.
- Oversee brief development and services communication plans: Synthesize inputs and facilitate alignment with brief owner(s), strategists and key creative partners to develop integrated marketing communications plans for Services in Channel-adjusting and managing for ever-shifting priorities in this process.
- Serve as central point of contact and integrator: Actively partner with all Marcom teams (Brand, Partner Comms, Operations, Planning, Design, Interactive, MG/Video, Advertising, and GEO teams) to seamlessly lead Channel work through Marcom. Develop deep collaboration with key teams across the company (Services Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Legal) to deliver best-in-class work that meets brand, partner, and commercial objectives.
- Be adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity: Effectively context switch between high-level strategic planning and day-to-day operational tasks. Adapt to changing circumstances while continuing to push work forward.
- Seek insights and evolve the work: Partner directly with business leads to understand business and operational drivers to better inform creative considerations. Identify new ways of working and evolve communications as the marketing roadmap, channel/partner landscape, and marketing strategies and deliverables evolve.
- Ensure work is tracked, flawless, and on-time: Provide oversight throughout the creative process to ensure ongoing alignment of deliverables with brief and on-time delivery. Maintain Plan of Records (PORs) that capture project details and scope through completion.
- Represent Channel across the company: Understand the goals of Channel within Marcom and advocate across the company. Educate key stakeholders on the channel landscape and significance of channel initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of marketing communications experience gained at an advertising, marketing, or design agency, or within an in-house marketing communications team; focused on building brands and driving business results.
- Experience in representing marketing communications strategy that encompass a broad range of marketing/messaging vehicles and deliverables.
- Cross-functional work experience with stakeholders at various levels of an organization (such as, but not limited to, Account Directors, Producers, or in-house marketing management roles).
Preferred
- Proven ability to build rapport, credibility and influence across multiple teams and stakeholders to get results.
- Expertise in building frameworks and actionable insights that enhance the creative development process.
- Ability to balance working in a creatively driven organization with an integrated, analytical, and disciplined approach to marketing.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills and can communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including leadership.
- Organized, resourceful, efficient, adaptable, and results-oriented and can solve complicated problems with a positive attitude.
- Hands-on experience encompassing Marketing Communications disciplines preferred.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
