  • Support grant compliance and educator preparation as part of program development.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provides coordination and implementation support through curriculum alignment, partnership development, storytelling, public engagement, program documentation, communications, and project coordination.
  • This position captures and shares the stories of Career and Technical Education students, educators, and industry partners through photography, videography, social media, newsletters, presentations, and other communication platforms.
  • Supports district readiness efforts related to skilled trades pathway development, educator preparation, Geometry in Construction implementation, and grant compliance activities while promoting Career and Technical Education opportunities and workforce development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least one year of experience using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, social media platforms, and standard office technology.
  • At least one year of experience in photography, video production, graphic design, social media management, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience creating communication materials, presentations, reports, or digital content.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid State of Alaska driver’s license and be able to obtain and maintain access to military bases.
