Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing campaigns to introduce our programs and gather community insights
• Engage confidently with diverse audiences, explaining our mission and answering questions with clarity
• Promote fundraising efforts or service offerings through persuasive communication and active listening
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, including contact details and feedback received during outreach
• Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach plans and share best practices for effective engagement
• Represent the organization professionally in outdoor settings, demonstrating enthusiasm and integrity
• Assist in setting appointments or follow-up meetings to deepen community relationships

Preferred

• Prior experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor work is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with people from various backgrounds
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective outreach to diverse communities
• Demonstrated customer service experience with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Supervising experience or leadership roles are advantageous for team collaboration
• Knowledge of marketing principles and fundraising techniques enhances effectiveness in this role
