Job Description

Responsibilities

Represent BBB at networking events, business functions, and community meetings across the State of Kentucky and South Central Indiana
Build relationships with chambers, associations, and key business leaders
Increase awareness of BBB’s mission and value within the marketplace
Proactively secure speaking opportunities with chambers of commerce, rotary clubs, industry groups, and community organizations
Represent BBB as a speaker, delivering presentations that position BBB as a trusted authority on marketplace ethics and best practices
Identify and coordinate speaking opportunities for the BBB CEO and senior leadership to elevate organizational visibility and influence
Manage scheduling, coordination, and follow-up for speaking engagements to maximize impact and relationship development
Proactively generate and qualify leads for the sales team through networking, outreach, and community connections
Collaborate with the sales team to support timely follow-up and conversion with these potential leads
Identify opportunities within existing Accredited Businesses for expanded engagement

Requirements

Public speaking skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Confidence in professional and public-facing environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently
Doesn’t mind travel across the Greater Kentucky Region at least 2 or 3 times per week
