Job Description

  • design, delivery and execution of marketing and business development plans that help win profitable work, deepen client relationships, and strengthen the firm’s brand, profile and reputation in priority markets.
  • work with sector leadership and key stakeholders to create and implement business development initiatives that strengthen client relationships, generate new opportunities and support revenue growth.
  • lead on pitches, proposals, credentials and client-facing materials, while using client and market insight to support a connected, one-firm approach to business development activity.
  • help deliver marketing campaigns, thought leadership, events, sponsorships and networking initiatives that raise the firm’s profile and create measurable commercial outcomes.
  • support the development of junior team members, helping to build commercial acumen, confidence and a collaborative team culture.
  • support the Head of Business Development for Financial Services in the design, delivery and execution of marketing and business development plans that help win profitable work, deepen client relationships, and strengthen the firm’s brand, profile and reputation in priority markets.
  • Extensive experience in a Business Development role within a professional services environment, preferably within a law firm.
  • Experience operating at least at Senior Executive level, with a track record of supporting senior stakeholders to win profitable work, deepen relationships and build brand and reputation.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience growing existing and new business.
  • Experience managing, mentoring and motivating team members.
  • Experience leading or supporting pitches, proposals, credentials and client-facing materials.
  • Excellent work management skills, with the ability to manage a broad and fast-paced workload in an organised and efficient manner.
    • Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, and we operate a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home working model, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.
