Job Description
Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Messaging
- Own and evolve the Brains & Motion brand voice, positioning, messaging, and visual consistency across marketing and sales channels.
- Translate BAM!'s programs, capabilities, and outcomes into clear value propositions for school and district decision-makers.
- Develop messaging tailored to different education stakeholders, including superintendents, district administrators, expanded learning leaders, principals, and after-school program administrators.
- Ensure BAM! presents a consistent, credible, and differentiated story across every customer touchpoint.
- Manage our Creative Designer & Collateral Specialist, setting creative direction and reviewing work against the brand standard.
- Work closely with executive, sales, and operations leadership to turn organizational strategy into compelling external messaging.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, brand marketing, demand generation, product marketing, or a related marketing role.
- Experience marketing within the K–12 education, EdTech, education services, youth programming, or school district ecosystem.
- Demonstrated understanding of how schools and school districts evaluate and purchase products or services.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to translate complex offerings into simple, compelling messages.
- Experience creating content for B2B or institutional decision-makers.
- Experience developing sales enablement materials.
- Strong understanding of digital content, websites, email marketing, and LinkedIn.
- Strong visual judgment and an understanding of what makes marketing materials feel polished, modern, and credible.
- Experience giving creative direction to a designer or creative resource.
Preferred
- Experience marketing directly to school districts and district administrators.
- Experience with California K–12 education.
- Knowledge of California's Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) or expanded-learning programs more broadly.
- Familiarity with education funding, district procurement, RFPs, or public-sector sales cycles.
- Experience marketing after-school, enrichment, tutoring, intersection, summer learning, or expanded-learning programs.
- Existing familiarity with California education associations, conferences, or district networks.
- Experience developing account-based or district-specific marketing campaigns.
- Experience working closely with a B2B education sales organization.
