Responsibilities

• Greet and engage people walking or driving through the area on Hamilton street
• Promote Geno’s pizza, lunch specials, happy hour, events, and new extended hours
• Hand out flyers and promotional materials
• Promote our online ordering through ChowNow
• Encourage people to stop in for lunch, happy hour, dinner, or drinks right now
• Help promote upcoming events, sports watch parties, and Geno’s specials
• Hold or display promotional signage when appropriate
• Create a fun, positive presence outside the restaurant
• Represent Geno’s professionally and enthusiastically in the community

Requirements

• Extremely outgoing and comfortable talking to strangers
• Friendly, energetic, and positive
• Comfortable approaching people rather than waiting for people to approach them
• Not afraid of being told no or people being rude or unreceptive
• Comfortable standing and walking outdoors for approximately three hours
• Able to explain specials and promotions clearly
• Motivated by results and getting people through the door

Preferred

• Familiar with social media is a plus
• Restaurant experience is not required. Personality, reliability, and the ability to connect with people matter more.
