Job Summary

Own the end to end box office and marketing workflow for live theatre, from single point of contact to pricing, reporting, and team leadership.

Box Office & Marketing Ownership: own ticketing operations, onsales planning, and accurate reporting with daily issue triage.
Pricing & Partnerships: collaborate on dynamic pricing with production partners and manage seats, holds, and distributor relationships.
Team & Process Execution: recruit and train the box office team, manage sign offs on comps and discounts, and maintain seating maps and auditorium layouts.

Job Description

Responsibilities

To be the main point of contact within Marylebone Theatre for ticketing and marketing
Lead internal planning for all ticketing and sales initiatives, including, onsales,cancellations and other product initiatives and policy changes
Effective, accurate and efficient sales of tickets and timely and accurate reporting
Along with the KX Tickets, develop and maintain relationships with ticket agents, co-producers and other agencies and ensure accurate reporting
Manage the refunds policy and process
In collaboration with production companies, carry out dynamic pricing changes to reflect demand and maximise sales
Management company, production and staff tickets and holds, ensuring timely allocation of required seats, and release for sale as required
To create, manage and maintain the customer communications and ticket management process for performance cancellations.
Ensure the consistent and accurate reporting of Daily Sales.
Ensure any ticketing issues are reviewed and resolved daily

Marylebone Theatre

Marylebone Theatre is a newly refurbished 212-seat venue, part of Rudolf Steiner House, just off Baker Street. Once the home to great artists, such as John Gielgud and Margot Fonteyn, the theatre has recently been beautifully refurbished and will reopen as a prominent, cross-cultural venue September 2022 with an exciting theatre launch season.
