Job Summary

Own the end-to-end bid and marketing workflow, from identifying opportunities to coordinating bids and supporting marketing efforts.

  • Identify opportunities using bid boards and public sites and assess fit with TEC priorities.
  • Coordinate bid documents, pricing, and turnover with the Project Manager and Estimating team.
  • Support marketing and website content updates while maintaining professional communications with staff and clients.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Utilize bid boards and public project sites to locate new opportunities to assess.
  • Determine if potential projects are good matches for TEC priorities.
  • Track activity of bids via Hubspot and verify deadlines are met.
  • Work with Estimating team to determine scope of project for bidding and estimating purposes.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of bid documents, production, subcontractor and vendor pricing and project turnover to Project Manager.
  • Assist with website updates including preparation of new content.
  • Assist with preparation of and attend conferences to market TEC & UXO.
  • Maintain open and professional communications as well as a good working relationship with staff, clients and potential clients.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the construction industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing, website or related areas.
  • High level of comfort and experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.) and Hubspot (or similar CRM software.)
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and terminology is highly desirable.
  • Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects and make sure items are updated in Hubspot and saved within our cloud infrastructure.
  • Ability to stay organized and use time efficiently. This position will be working on multiple opportunities at the same time and needs to be able to work both in a team setting and independently.
  • Ability to meet both internal and external deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills.
