Channel Impact is seeking a Benefits Communication Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of global, integrated communication strategies for our client’s benefits programs. Directly supporting our client's Benefits Communication Leader, this role is critical in ensuring their employees understand, value, and effectively utilize the client benefits.

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled communicator with a proven track record in developing and executing impactful communication plans, coupled with extensive experience crafting clear, engaging, and accurate benefits communications. A successful candidate will possess a growth mindset and leverage AI for work optimization.

This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits for a remote worker within the United States.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop and implement innovative, multi-channel communication strategies for our client’s benefits programs, including health and welfare, wellbeing, financial wellbeing, and time away.
  • Translate complex benefits information into clear, concise, and compelling messaging tailored to global employee audiences.
  • Lead the creation and execution of a wide range of communication materials, such as employee guides, digital content, email campaigns, presentations, and videos.
  • Partner closely with Benefits and other internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and alignment of all communications.
  • Manage the benefits communication calendar and ensure the timely delivery of all communications.
  • Measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives, utilizing data and feedback to continuously improve engagement and understanding.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in employee benefits communication.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits communication best practices.
  • Partner with external vendors and agencies as needed for communication projects.

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits communication, with a strong emphasis on strategy development and execution. (Required)
  • Experience working in a large, global technology company (Preferred)
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, supported by a portfolio demonstrating expertise in benefits communication.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits communications, such as ERISA and ACA. (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-side, multi-channel communication strategies from concept through execution, delivering measurable engagement outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in various communication channels and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical or policy information into easily understandable language.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, English, or a related field.
