Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with AWS business priorities
  • Provide strategic counsel to the CEO and senior leadership to help them prioritize their time and focus on key opportunities that will have the most impact on communicating AWS's business strategy
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define key messages and narratives
  • Create compelling executive content including speeches, presentations, and written materials that articulate AWS's vision and strategy
  • Design and manage integrated communications plans across earned, owned, and social channels
  • Define and execute strategic engagement plans for key industry events, keynotes, and speaking opportunities
  • Ensure consistency of executive voice and messaging across all internal and external communication channels
  • Guide executives on message positioning and delivery for critical moments
  • Provide real-time counsel and communication support during sensitive situations or crisis moments
  • Navigate complex approval processes while maintaining message integrity

Requirements

  • 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
