Own and drive the university athletics marketing and engagement program, balancing promotional campaigns, revenue generation, and stakeholder liaison across administrators, donors, alumni, and media partners. Lead strategy, brand messaging, and program execution while guiding staff and ensuring confidential information handling.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- 60% - Marketing & Communication

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing, designing and implementing creative promotional and advertising strategies.
- Two years’ experience in Division I Intercollegiate Athletics or professional sports.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a large number of constituents: administrators, staff, students, donors, alumni, and media professionals.
- Excellent judgment in the handling of confidential information.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Analytical and research skills.
Preferred
- Master’s Degree, in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years’ experience in Intercollegiate Athletics or professional sports
- Knowledge of UC Davis, including its achievements, mission, goals, vision, and objectives.
- Skill and experience to mentor less experienced staff.
