Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Media intelligence & issue awareness: Track traditional, digital and emerging media coverage to spot meaningful coverage, reputational signals, competitive trends and issues that may require PR attention, including during earnings, major announcements and other high-visibility moments.
  • Measurement, reporting & insights: Develop recurring reports and analysis that help the PR team understand coverage, measure impact, identify trends and apply learnings to future planning.
  • Editorial planning & alignment: Create recurring updates that help leaders and partners understand PR wins, results, upcoming priorities and key external moments, while helping lead department-wide planning meetings that keep the function aligned.
  • Research & external visibility: Conduct research that informs media strategy, priority journalist and outlet lists, awards, speaking opportunities, thought leadership platforms and competitive visibility.
  • Content & message support: Draft, edit and maintain PR materials, briefing documents, messaging resources and other external communications content that are clear, accurate and easy for partners to use.
  • Special projects: Flex across corporate communications, consumer PR, executive communications and social community management to support priority projects and emerging needs across the PR function.
  • Tools, systems & smarter ways of working: Support media intelligence platforms, databases, reporting processes and emerging tools while identifying ways to make recurring work simpler, faster and more consistent.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent
