Job Summary

Own the Hightouch audience model library end to end, from data modeling and ingestion to deployment, validation, and ongoing governance across Snowflake, AEP, and multiple ad platforms.

  • Ensure reliable data quality, privacy compliance, and timely delivery of audience activations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the Hightouch model library: acquisition, retention, suppression, lookalike seeds, and lifecycle audiences, using SQL against the data warehouse (Snowflake) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure warehouse models are optimized for Hightouch consumption.
  • Build and deploy client- and server-side tags to enable robust analytics and paid media activation (Adobe Data Collection, Google Tag Manager).
  • Ensure all behavioral events are correctly mapped to XDM schema payloads and validated before production deployment.
  • Configure client-side and server-side event forwarding for privacy-preserving data collection.
  • Audit data collection quality: monitor for missing events, schema formatting errors, duplicate events, and sampling issues in Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 4.
  • Support the Manager, Marketing Technology Platforms on web event decisioning configuration for real-time web personalization.
  • Configure and monitor all Hightouch sync destinations: Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, The Trade Desk, InsiderOne, and CRM.
  • Establish sync health monitoring, alerting, and SLAs for all audience pipelines.
  • Support Paid Media and CRM teams in troubleshooting audience discrepancies between Hightouch and platform destinations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or marketing data roles.
  • Strong SQL skills; experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
  • Understanding of paid media audience mechanics: customer match, custom audiences, lookalike creation, and match-rate optimization.
  • Familiarity with a variety of MarTech solution APIs (e.g., Adobe AEP audience publishing and Segment API).
  • Experience building and deploying client- and server-side tags via tag management systems (Adobe Data Collection/Launch, Google Tag Manager).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across both technical and marketing teams.

Preferred

  • Hands-on Hightouch experience strongly preferred; equivalently, experience with other reverse ETL platforms (e.g., Census).
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), XDM schema design, and Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics 4.
  • Familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation/modeling frameworks.
  • Understanding of digital privacy and compliance standards, including GDPR, CCPA/CPA, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA.
  • Experience within a subscription, seasonal, retail, travel, or hospitality business.
