Direct Manager Title: VP, Project Management The Role The Associate Director of Project Management leads a portfolio of integrated marketing engagements spanning strategy, creative, media, and content development. This role is both strategic and operational—overseeing a portfolio of work, ensuring project excellence, financial health, and developing processes & adherence across multiple accounts. As a senior leader, you will partner closely with Client Experience and account leadership to manage client expectations, drive growth opportunities, and uphold best practices in delivery. You will also play a key role in departmental process improvements and in mentoring the next generation of project leaders. What You’ll Do Oversee a defined portfolio of accounts and projects, ensuring collaboration and operational excellence across engagements. Identify risks, trends, and opportunities within the portfolio and provide proactive solutions to maintain or improve profitability. Partner with client experience leads to define client growth opportunities and support accurate revenue forecasting. Manage a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers; oversee performance reviews, development planning, and day-to-day coaching. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational exploration with department heads and within PMO. Reinforce and implement department-wide process improvement initiatives and drive adoption of organizational best practices. Serve as a senior point of contact for Client Experience and client, managing expectations and ensuring delivery excellence. Partner with client experience team member to align on strategic priorities, scope, and delivery approach for each engagement. Guide teams to deliver projects on time, on scope, and on budget while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients. Lead project estimation, staffing, and resource planning across managed projects. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, workflows, and documentation standards. Collaborate with cross-functional leads to evolve delivery processes and tools for greater efficiency and scalability. Ideal Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines 6+ years of integrated project management experience, agency experience required Thorough knowledge of the project management lifecycle; Must be knowledgeable with both waterfall and agile project management Ability to explore, implement, & develop, different management and organizational approaches to support the project team and the goals of the engagement Clear and effective communicator with internal and external stakeholders Strong attention to detail Positive, productive team player Strong business and marketing acumen Prior experience in the healthcare industry preferred, but not required Prior experience developing and rolling out new operational practices and procedures Prior experience mentoring and managing junior team members Proficiency within Workfront & MS Office products Equality Opportunity Employer Statement Unlock, and its affiliate companies is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
