Job Summary

  • Learning & Capability Building: Develop client education on marketplace trends and train the design team in planning fundamentals.
  • Results & Growth Focus: Contribute to KPI delivery and to SBU growth and client profitability through applied insights.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and refine the planning framework to surface media intelligence and deliver a culturally rich OESP communications plan.
  • Coordinate with the Director, Planning to present holistic approaches to stakeholders and manage day-to-day planning outputs.
  • Develop client education on marketplace trends and train the design team in planning fundamentals.
  • Contribute to client KPI delivery and to Specialty Business Units growth and client profitability.
  • Lead the best practice application of planning tools and techniques to surface insights that inform the communications plan.
  • Write and manage outputs from RFP submissions in collaboration with Partnerships leads.
  • Support new business efforts as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in an integrated planning role in media, publisher / vendor, or communications discipline (digital, content)
  • Ability to delegate and oversee direct reports
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred

  • 6+ years relevant experience with 3+ years managing or developing staff
  • Category or audience experience as relevant per assignment
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work successfully within a team, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
