Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy that promotes the Center for Career Advancement's programs, services, and initiatives through digital, print, web, email, photographs and social media platforms.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and assessment of the Center for Career Advancement's social media strategy across multiple platforms. Create and manage engaging content, oversee the Center's social media presence and online communities, monitor digital engagement and conversations, respond to emerging issues as appropriate, and leverage trends, analytics, and best practices to increase brand awareness, student engagement, and participation.
  • Create compelling content, oversee advertising campaigns,and collaborate with University Communications, University Advancement, Athletics, three academic colleges and other campus partners to strengthen the Center's brand, increase student engagement, and communicate career opportunities and outcomes.
  • Work with the CCA Platforms team on continued development of uConnect pages; outcomes reports, etc.
  • Supervision of CCA Student Interns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
  • Four (4) years of related experience in advertising, social media, communications or related field

Preferred

  • Masters degree in communications, marketing counseling or related field
  • Six (6) years of experience working with career/professional development and counseling
  • Documented experience with and demonstrated interest in work with undergraduate student population
