  • Analytics & iteration: track open/click, engagement, and platform performance to refine messaging and recruitment outcomes.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Enrollment Communication Strategy: Engage on a task force to refine the outreach map for prospective students and influencers.
  • Email/SMS Campaigns: Develop campaigns for prospective students and families through the recruitment funnel.
  • Copy for Milestones: Write persuasive copy for inquiry, application, admission, deposit, and orientation.
  • Admissions Collaboration: Align messaging with recruitment strategies and enrollment goals.
  • Content & Storytelling: Produce engaging content across channels highlighting student experiences, campus life, academics, and outcomes.
  • Feature Stories: Write profiles about students, faculty, and programs for undergrad audiences.
  • Translate Complex Info: Turn academic details into clear, student-centered messaging.
  • Parent Communications: Develop targeted content for parents about value, outcomes, and support systems.
  • Parent Retention Messaging: Create communications for parents of current students reinforcing success initiatives and resources.
  • Social Media & Calendars: Manage primary channels for prospective engagement and develop recruitment-cycle aligned calendars.
  • Monitor Engagement: Track trends and performance analytics to refine strategy.
  • Video Storytelling: Tell student stories via short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts; work with creators to capture campus life.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Track email, social, and video performance; use data to improve recruitment outcomes and stay current on Gen Z trends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or communications.
  • Demonstrated strength in copywriting for digital platforms, especially email and social media.
  • Experience managing social channels, developing audience-centered content and growing engagement.
  • Strong storytelling ability and editorial judgment.
  • Excellent written communication with tone, clarity, and brand voice.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Preferred
  • Experience in higher education marketing, enrollment marketing, or youth-focused communication.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools used in enrollment communications.
  • Experience producing or scripting short-form video content.
  • Understanding of digital engagement trends among prospective college students and families.
