Job Description
The part-time Architectural Drafter & Technical Writer (ADTW) will create design and architectural drawings, user guides, technical manuals, and catalog cuts using a variety of digital platforms including CAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, and artificial-intelligence (AI) tools. The ADTW will perform as a member of the Morozko Engineering, Research & Development team as well as support Morozko Media in development and curation of our online Trade Portal supporting building design, construction, and trade professionals.

Duties

• Develop architectural and mechanical drawings, models, illustrations, and animations.
• Create schematics, system designs, interior layouts, mechanical components, and 2D animations to visualize complex concepts effectively.
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation including specifications, manuals, and system descriptions to support regulatory compliance, third-party certifications, and customers.
• Support marketing and sales in building segments, representing Morozko to architects, engineers, and builders to ensure drawings and documents meet industry standards and client requirements.
• Assist in graphic design tasks related to presentation boards and project visuals that communicate ideas clearly and professionally.
• Support construction teams by providing detailed drafting instructions and technical clarifications during the building process.

Requirements

• Experience with CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Solidworks, AI agents and other drafting and writing software.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drafting principles, schematics, system design, and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools and techniques for creating visually compelling presentations.
• Experience in mechanical design or interior design is a plus; knowledge of 2D animation is advantageous.
• Ability to produce accurate technical writing that explains complicated instructions.
• Familiarity with building trades and specifications.
• Experience in cold plunge therapy is a plus.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
