About the Role
Total Wine & More is seeking an Analyst II, Personalized Promotions to join our Consumer Insights team in our Bethesda, MD office. In this role, you will support the execution, analysis, and reporting of personalized promotion programs across store and digital channels. Working closely with team members and cross-functional partners, you will help maintain reporting, analyze customer and transaction data, and contribute insights that support business decisions. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build foundational analytical, reporting, and marketing skills within a collaborative retail environment. You will report to the Director of Personalized Promotions.
You will
- Support the execution and reporting of personalized promotion campaigns across store and digital channels by following established processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Promotion Operations, and other internal teams to gather information, track deliverables, and support project execution.
- Maintain promotional calendars, compile campaign results, and assist with weekly and monthly reporting activities.
- Analyze customer and transaction data using SQL and other analytical tools to identify trends and evaluate promotion performance.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint to communicate findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
You will come with
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Less than one year of professional experience in analytics, marketing, business intelligence, or a related field; internships or relevant academic projects are encouraged.
- Foundational knowledge of SQL and an interest in working with large datasets.
- Basic understanding of data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate findings clearly.
- Eagerness to learn new tools, processes, and business concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
