Job Summary

Own and drive the Marketing and Air Service Development program to attract new and expanded passenger and cargo service to Fresno area airports, coordinating marketing strategies under the direction of the Director of Aviation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and directs the Marketing and Air Service Development activities.
  • Duties include developing and implementing marketing strategies and activities to attract new/increased passenger and cargo service to Fresno Yosemite International Airport and Fresno Chandler Executive Airport.
  • Reporting to the Director of Aviation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, public administration, public relations, advertising or closely related field;
  • Four years of experience in management of a marketing or public relations program.
  • Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis, up to a maximum of two years.

  • ANNUAL LEAVE: Accrue 15.50 hours per month with cash out provisions.
  • HOLIDAYS: Ten (10) City-observed annual holidays plus birthday and two (2) personal days.
  • LIFE INSURANCE: Benefit equal to annual salary; premium paid by The City.
  • LONG-TERM DISABILITY: Benefit equal to 66.66% of monthly salary up to $7,500 per month after 30 days of disability; premium paid by The City.
