Requirements emphasize a Master’s degree with relevant coursework or significant experience in Marketing.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Teach various marketing classe(s) each semester viz. Principles of Marketing, Professional Selling, Sales Management, Professionalism in Workplace, Retailing, Advertising, etc.
Responsibilities include teaching a wide variety of marketing courses as well as the College’s first-year experience course.
Most of these courses would be in-person, however occasionally online courses may also be assigned.
Selected candidate may be required to teach in RU’s Core Curriculum as needed.
Adjunct faculty shall be evaluated in every course, including summer school.

Requirements

All faculty must have at least a Master’s degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching with 18 hours of course work related to the course(s) being taught.
In some cases, subject to the approval by the Provost, a faculty member could be recommended for appointment based on substitution of significant experience for the degree.
Previous experience teaching or working in Marketing or relevant field as determined by the nature of the course being taught.
