Own and manage web content across agency sites, from drafting and reviews to CMS publishing, with a focus on SEO, accessibility testing, and coordinating quarterly information certifications; you will also oversee image editing, records management, and stakeholder communications support.

Job Description

Responsibilities

The position edits content, manages any reviews needed
Use the Content Management Systems (CMS) to upload, maintain, and post content on agency websites and intranets.
Optimizing text for SEO and ensuring all web pages are compliant with federal accessibility laws (Section 508).
Coordinate the Agency’s quarterly certification process for up-to-date information.
Use graphic applications to crop, recolor, resize, and manipulate web images when needed.
Coordinate processes and procedures.
Section 508 web accessibility testing (not just compliance awareness).
NARA/records management
GovDelivery support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or in a related discipline.
5–7 years of experience in web content management, 3 of which shall be within the last 5 years.
Web experience is required. Drupal, SharePoint, and Google Sites
Database content (not programming) would be helpful.
