Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This is a full-time position for a Video Editor based in Athens, GA. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing short-form video content and occasionally filming.
  • Day-to-day tasks include cutting raw footage, pacing the videos properly, implementing new/creative ideas, and incorporating paid sponsors seamlessly into organic content.
  • You will work closely with Clayton in a collaborative way and together you'll create 3 short form videos per week and aim for all of those to go viral!
  • Clayton is routinely hired to create content for fortune 500 companies such as Ford, Amazon, and The Home Depot, and you will be editing these advertisements! I want someone on my team who cares about the content, how it performs, and gets creative with the video edit.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years video editing experience - preferably in Premiere Pro but not required
  • Sense of humor - doesn't have to be good, it just has to exist lol
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Creative mindset with the ability to interpret and implement brand guidelines
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Location - Hybrid; you must live within driving distance as we need someone who can be in office for 1 or 2 days per week

Preferred

  • Prior experience in social media content editing
  • Experience Video Color Grading
  • Experience creating Motion Graphics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Design, or a related field is preferred
