Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Client Project Management: Oversee a portfolio of veterinary clients, ensuring deadlines are met and clients receive excellent service.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and create content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Meta Business Suite.
  • Email Marketing: Create and send newsletters, email campaigns, and promotional emails using platforms like MailChimp, MailerLite, or Constant Contact.
  • Webinar Management: Assist with organizing and promoting webinars, including content creation and email marketing.
  • Graphic Design & Video Editing: Use tools like Canva to design social media posts, email templates, and webinar graphics. Basic video editing will also be required.
  • Content Creation: Write and edit website copy, social media captions, blog posts, and other content that resonates with veterinary professionals.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Social DVM team to bring ideas to life, collaborate on projects, and improve workflows.
  • Leadership Responsibilities: Take on leadership responsibilities, becoming a point person for clients and confidently managing meetings and projects.

Requirements

  • Veterinary Experience: Prior experience in a veterinary practice, preferably as a technician, veterinarian, practice manager, or CSR. The more hands-on medical experience, the better!
  • Marketing Expertise: Solid understanding of marketing principles, with a focus on social media, email campaigns, and project management.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to take ownership of client projects, lead meetings, and troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and team members professionally and efficiently.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Google Workspace, Zoom. Project management tools such as Asana and Slack are not required but will become your friends. Experience with email platforms like MailChimp, MailerLite, or Constant Contact is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Nothing dies in marketing, which is great, but reputations are built on the work we do for our clients. A keen eye for detail and a double checking mindset is essential.
  • Remote Work Experience: Comfortable working remotely with prior experience in a virtual environment. Must be available for regular meetings during standard business hours.
