Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, engaging copy for campaigns, ads, landing pages, emails, collateral, and other seller-facing experiences.
  • Translate business objectives, audience needs, and product benefits into effective messaging.
  • Partner with design, marketing, product, and business teams—and external vendors—from brief through delivery.
  • Maintain and evolve copy and creative assets in line with Walmart content, voice, and style standards.
  • Contribute to content strategy by applying audience insights, industry trends, and competitive context.
  • Manage multiple priorities, improve workflows, and uphold quality through editorial review and final QA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field and 2 years' experience in copywriting OR 4 years' experience in copywriting.

Preferred

  • Copywriting for online brand initiatives
  • Copywriting in an online creative or related digital field
  • Copywriting in a retail environment
  • Developing copy concepts in a retail or marketing environment
  • Working for or with creative agencies
