Job Summary

Own subcategory marketing and analytics to drive alignment between category strategy, site merchandising, and promotions while coordinating cross-channel campaigns.

  • Own storytelling and subcategory marketing research to shape product narratives that connect to the category plan.
  • Own channel execution across email, paid search, PLA, affiliate, and paid social with affiliate program ops and promo codes.
  • Own KPI analysis, reporting enhancements, and partner recommendations to marketing, category, and site merchandising teams.

Responsibilities

  • What you'll do...Uses a variety of elements for example storyboards presentation decks to develop product stories that support brands and key marketing initiatives for a subcategory Understands the category marketing strategy and how the subcategory connects to it Provides recommendations to Site Merchandisers and Category Managers based on marketing expertise and performance in the subcategory Recommends affiliate coupons and promotions for the subcategory
  • Performs moderately complex marketing analysis of subcategory key performance indicators including brand and category deep dives analysis of ad hoc initiatives or tests keyword research search query analysis email marketing analysis and recurring sales reports Analyzes top affiliate sites to understand the affiliate landscape determine subcategory competitiveness and make recommendations to Category Management and Site Merchandising teams Recommends changes to core analytics marketing Category Management and Site Merchandising teams for example enhanced reports or analytics change in visual product presentation based on research and analytics
  • Implements marketing campaigns for a subcategory Manages digital marketing channels for the subcategory including email marketing programs paid search PLA affiliate and paid social Manages the routine operation of affiliate programs for the subcategory including reconciling order inquiries implementing banners updating links pulling reports and creating coupon codes
  • Collaborates with Marketing Managers Category Management and Site Merchandising team members to assist in the development of marketing programs for the subcategory Works with creative copy and other internalexternal resources to develop content for paid campaigns for products within the subcategory
  • Demonstrates uptodate expertise and applies this to the development execution and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs and building commitment for perspectives and rationales
  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders identifying business needs determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices monitoring progress and results recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities and adapting to competing demands organizational changes and new responsibilities
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans using the Open Door Policy and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related area OR 2 years' experience in business or related area.
