Responsibilities

• The Extra Help/Marketing Assistant designs graphics and creates media to support ASBTDC’s traditional and digital marketing efforts.
• The position also contributes to special projects and events to fulfill the goals and strategic initiatives of the organization.
• The ideal candidate will be a creative and skilled graphic artist who produces professional-caliber work using a wide variety of media techniques.

Requirements

• Formal high school diploma;
• Portfolio of samples of design work.
• Significant secondary coursework or bachelor’s degree in art, design, marketing, communications, or related field;
• Experience creating graphics for print and digital output;
• Small business knowledge or work experience;
• WordPress knowledge or experience;
• Video editing knowledge or experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally by email, telephone, and face to face;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

• Samples of design work (minimum of five pieces)
