Drive the brand’s social media presence with day-to-day scheduling, asset prep, and community engagement across major platforms.

Own day-to-day social content scheduling and asset formatting across platforms.
Must-have: Deep familiarity with Instagram and TikTok best practices.
Standout: Hybrid Carlsbad-based contract role with 7–8 months and video-friendly skills.

Schedule and publish content across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
Manage the social content calendar and ensure posts go live accurately and on time
Format assets for different platforms (cropping, adding audio when applicable, tagging, etc.)
Assist with organic social rollout plans when launching seasonal campaigns, product drops, and collaborations
Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and tagged content daily
Flag customer service issues to appropriate teams
Identify and engage with brand advocates, creators, and community members
Track and highlight user-generated content opportunities through tagged content
Stay on top of social media trends, emerging content formats, and platform updates
Identify opportunities for the brand to participate in trending conversations when brand relevant

Hybrid schedule (3 Days in office at HQ in Carlsbad, and 2 Days Remote)
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Contract Type: Full-time temporary role (7–8 months)
Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms best practices
Digitally native and passionate about social media, culture & trends
Strong eye for engaging social content
Basic photo/video editing skills
Basic video editing (CapCut, Splice, Frame.io), Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
Comfortable being on camera and capturing content
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple posts and deadlines
