Job Description
Responsibilities
- Working with cross functional teams to create and execute a strategic technical plan, inclusive of enablement, practice development, and go-to market support on solutions that meet FinServe customer needs with measurable ROI
- Driving partner solutions, APN Program attainment, continuous enablement through training and certifications and go-to-market strategies
- Establishing AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud computing platform for FinServe
- Understand the technical requirements of each partner and work closely with the internal AWS development team to guide the direction of our product offerings
- Working alongside the AWS Partner Development Manager and AWS Partner SAs for the strategic partner to develop extensive executive and senior management relationships within partner organizations; being viewed as a "trusted advisor"
- Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful engagements with software partners worldwide
- Assist solution providers with the definition of technical strategies that will enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform
- Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS
- Serve as a key member of the AWS partner team to define and deliver the overall go-to-market strategy for the segment
Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Preferred
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
