Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create, shoot, edit, and publish original social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms
  • Edit short- and mid-form videos (reels, shorts, testimonials, behind-the-scenes, through leadership clips)
  • Partner with marketing leadership to translate brand strategy into engaging, platform-native content
  • Build and manage content calendars while staying responsive to trends and timely opportunities
  • Grow and engage social media audiences through consistent posting, testing, and optimization
  • Repurpose long-form content (interviews, events, webinars) into high-performing social assets
  • Track content performance and apply insights to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth
  • Maintain brand voice, visual standards, and creative quality across all channels

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience creating social media content (internship, agency, freelance, or in-house)
  • Strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar
  • Strong visual and creative judgment – you know what “good” looks like and why
  • Understanding of platform-specific best practices (especially LinkedIn and Instagram)
  • Experience creating short-form video with strong hooks, captions, and motion/text overlays
  • Photography and video shooting experience (advanced smartphone-level is sufficient)
  • Familiarity with native social media analytics tools
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple content pieces simultaneously
  • Willingness to test ideas, experiment, and iterate quickly
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred

  • Experience creating content for B2B, franchise, or professional services brands
  • On-camera experience or comfort directing others on camera
