Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and post short-form content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Turn interesting, controversial, funny, and trending topics into Debate Room content
  • Develop hooks, scripts, captions, memes, and recurring content formats
  • Monitor trends and quickly turn them into relevant posts
  • Help build Debate Room's voice and personality online
  • Experiment with AI content-creation and editing tools
  • Engage with relevant creators, communities, and conversations
  • Track views, engagement, follower growth, downloads, and other performance metrics
  • Test different content styles and double down on what performs
  • Brainstorm unconventional ways to generate attention and users

Requirements

  • Actually understands TikTok, Reels, and internet culture
  • Has strong instincts for hooks and attention
  • Is comfortable creating content around controversial or polarizing topics
  • Is creative, proactive, and willing to experiment
  • Can move quickly without needing detailed instructions for everything
  • Is interested in startups, social media, current events, culture, or technology

Preferred

  • Experience with CapCut, Canva, Adobe, AI video tools, or social analytics
