Job Description

Drive MAP’s social media and digital engagement to tell youth stories and support mission-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a social media strategy aligned with MAP’s mission and campaigns.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across all MAP platforms.
  • Create compelling posts highlighting programs, youth stories, and initiatives such as Threads of Voices and The Bells I Hear.
  • Collaborate with communications, design, and program teams to align messaging and visuals.
  • Engage with followers and partner organizations to foster authentic community relationships.
  • Track analytics, audience engagement, and platform performance to inform strategy.
  • Support video and visual content for MAP’s YouTube and multimedia storytelling.
  • Check and respond to emails daily, ensuring all responses are completed within 48 hours.
  • Take responsibility for performance improvement by setting growth goals and optimizing digital engagement efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience managing social media for an organization, brand, or campaign.
  • Strong understanding of social media tools (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, Canva, or Hootsuite).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, analytics, and community engagement strategies.
  • Collaborative, reliable, and passionate about creative communication and social impact.
