Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies that support Koch's business priorities, audience needs and communication and marketing objectives.
  • Partner across KCM, businesses, leaders and subject matter experts to align social media plans with broader digital marketing, communications, recruitment, stewardship and reputation goals.
  • Monitor platform changes, audience behavior, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for optimization, experimentation and growth.
  • Source, create, schedule and manage social-first written, visual, video and multimedia content across managed channels.
  • Manage editorial calendars and support integrated campaigns that deliver the right message to the right audience through the right channel.
  • Capture and shape social-specific content that showcases Koch, its businesses, employees and communities in authentic and compelling ways.
  • Support executive and business thought leadership by identifying content opportunities, developing recommendations and helping leaders engage authentically with key audiences.
  • Build audience relationships through proactive engagement, listening and two-way dialogue, while helping cultivate employee advocacy and ambassador opportunities.
  • Monitor social channels, manage community activity and elevate emerging issues, reputational risks or sentiment trends through appropriate escalation and governance processes.
  • Use analytics and reporting tools to evaluate performance, identify trends and translate insights into recommendations that improve content effectiveness, engagement and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Professional experience managing social media channels, content calendars and campaigns for a business, brand or organization.
  • Demonstrate expertise in leveraging various social media platforms and analytics tools to drive engagement and optimize campaigns.
  • Proactive drive to stay informed of emerging trends and platform updates, enabling our content to adapt and remain responsive in today's fast-evolving digital landscape.
  • Experience creating visually appealing and engaging content.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver quality results, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred

  • Experience managing social media presence for both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Experience translating business goals, audience insights or performance data into social media recommendations
  • Experience working across multiple businesses, brands, leaders, campaigns or stakeholder groups.
  • An understanding of SEO, user journeys, web traffic impacts and how social media contributes to discoverability and digital performance.
  • Deep understanding and work experience with the management of social media platforms.
  • The ability to approach creative scenarios with analysis, principles and professional discipline to advance business goals.
  • Experience supporting executive visibility, thought leadership or leader social media engagement.
  • Experience in reputation management, community management, social listening or escalation processes.
